LAVlacquer

-Press Sample
Hi again, Everyone!!  Yep, two posts in two days!!  I'm able to post a bit more regularly now that things are slowing down at work!!  Yay!!  Today, I have a new indie brand called LAVlacquer to share with you... tons of glitter is coming your way...

Garden of Pink Roses:

I was going to layer Garden of Pink Roses, but the base is such a pretty light pink, I decided to wear it alone.  It contains large neon pink hex glitter with smaller pink and green hex glitter.  Pictured above is three coats of Garden of Pink Roses followed by top coat. I love the tiny hex glitter that just "lays" on the large pink pieces..  such a pretty color combo!!

Green Apple:

"Green Apple" really is the perfect name for this polish.. the base is exactly that of a green apple! This polish is a crelly containing neon green and aqua hex glitter and smaller yellow and green glitter.  The formula was nice and manageable.  I used three coats of Green Apple followed by top coat in the above three pictures.

Primadonna Gal:

I knew right away I would layer Primadonna Gal over black!!  The black base really shows off the beautiful holo glitter in this polishes!!  This polish is so gorgeous.. a holo-lover's dream.  I love the mix of pink, purple, blue and silver!  I may wear this over a deep purple base next!!  I used two coats of Primadonna Gal over a black base followed by top coat.

One in a Million:

Pictured above is one coat of One in a Million over NOPI Pros & Confidence followed by top coat.  This is another beauty!!  The glitter color combo is amazing and the added touch of holo specs is stunning!  One in a million is densely packed with tiny silver, pink, blue, and holo hex glitter in a clear base.  Such deep depth for such tiny glitter!! :)  Of course, I chose a pink base, but this would look great alone with a few coats!!  Good stuff!!  ;)

--I'm really impressed with these polishes from LAVlacquer.  With all the indie lines that are popping up right now, it's nice to come across one with variety and quality like this one!!  I'm gonna keep my eye on this shop to see what Dij (the creator) comes up with next!!

More from Color Secrets

-Press Sample
Happy Weekend Everyone!  I can't believe it's already the end of June!  This summer is flying by!!    I have two polishes and some nail appliques from Color Secrets to show you today..

Little Miss Sunshine:

Little Miss Sunshine is a really pretty tangerine-orange sheer polish with golden shimmer.  I really like this color, but the polish is quite sheer and it takes longer to dry than most polishes I own.  Pictured above it three coats of Little Miss Sunshine.

Blue Lagoon:

Blue Lagoon is such gorgeous color!!  I love the icy blue shimmer!  This one had the same formula as Little Miss Sunshine..  I used three coats.

Nail Appliques in "Polished Princess":

I hate to say it... but I'm not a fan of these appliques at all.  They're just stickers and they don't "stretch" like appliques that are made of real polish.  They're really thick, too & so hard to file to shape to your nail...and removal was a nightmare!!  You have to peel them off and they damaged my nails while pulling them off.  I really like appliques that are easy to remove with nail polish remover 100 times better than these.  Ugh.

The Polish Bar Summer 2013

-Press Sample
Hey Everyone!! Yep, more indie polish to show you... this time they're from The Polish Bar (one of my favorite shops!!)  I have four beauties from the new Summer 2013 Collection..

Together Forever:

This is two coats of Together Forever over Essie Bottle Service followed by top coat.  I'm loving neons this summer and this glitter topper is so fun!!  Together Forever contains glitters in white, neon blue and green, and black glitter in various shapes and sizes... all in a clear base.  The glitter ratio is perfect and I did not have to "fish" for the glitter!!  Together Forever will look great over a variety of colors!!

Beach Party:

Beach Party has a milky white base with pastel neon pink, purple, orange and blue glitters; and white matte glitters.  I used two coats of Beach Party over a white base followed by top coat in the above pics.  I'm loving the larger pink hex glitter in this one and the orange bars are fun, too!!  Great formula with Beach Party!

Summer of Love:

Pictured above is one generous coat of Summer of Love over Essie DJ Play That Song (which is currently on my toes :)  I LOVE this combo!  I think these two were meant for each other!! :)  Summer of Love is densely packed with ten different types of purple glitter.. all in a clear base.  My favorites are the large dark matte hex and the flowers (oh, and the scattered holo!!)  I adore this purple glitter bomb!!

Girls Rule:

Girls Rule has the same milky base as Beach Party.  It contains white matte hex glitters and super fun metallic circle glitter!  I think this one is my favorite of the bunch I have for you today.  The circles are just too cute!  They lay nicely on the nail, too and I just love the pinks, purples, and blues together.  I used two coats of Girls Rule over a white base followed by top coat.

-Press Sample
Hey Everyone!!  Happy Weekend!!  Today I have three polishes from KBShimmer's Summer 2013 Collection!  Each of these polishes are extremely gorgeous and sooo fitting for summertime!!  Let's take a look...

Don't Pink Twice:

I love Don't Pink Twice!!!  It's a gorgeous neon pink polish that dries matte and has subtle shimmer.  Pinks are my weakness, so I knew I'd love this one the moment I laid eyes on it.  The formula is incredible... it practically applied itself!  I used two coats of Don't Pink Twice in the above pics, and added top coat for some shine in the photo below.  Gorgeous!!
Don't Pink Twice WITH top coat
What's Your Damage?

What's Your Damage? is a white crelly containing neon pink & green and black glitter.  This one also has an awesome formula..  I used three coats followed by KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat (my new favorite top coat).  This polish reminds me of the 80's.. it's so fun and soo summery!!

Totally Tubular:

Totally Tubular has a greenish blue base with fuchsia circle and hex glitter, indigo hex glitter, and smaller aqua circles.  I've never seen a crelly with this much pigmentation... the base is truly gorgeous and it applies extremely smoothly!  I love the larger fuchsia circles!  The color combo with Totally Tubular is beautiful.  Pictured above is two coats followed by top coat.

**There you have three more beauties from KBShimmer!!  This indie line never ceases to amaze me... I love shopping on the entire website... they carry polishes along with soaps, lotions, bath bombs and more..
